Why my ex-girlfriend contact me after almost a year to break?
My ex and I were together for about a year. After a time in the relationship she started to tell me she was confused and we actually broke up about 4 times. Until finally we got back together and it was fine until she again told me she was confused and should focus on school and could not have a boyfriend right now. Well two weeks after that, she starts dating her best friend for about a week, then they separate. When she told me what I told him I could not talk to him anymore because I needed to get over it and I could not even be his friend because it would hurt a thing. That was around October 06. Recently, she sent me a friend request and message. In the message she spoke very Casual asking how my summer went. It is a difficult person to read, and I do not know if she wants to be friends or think I'll give another chance. Why it just contact me suddenly?
I think that is it has nothing better to do or she really wants to know how you are now, as being friends with you. She may think that even if the two of you can not be together, you two can still be friends. There is possibility that it will probably be another chance to be with you, but I think the probability is quite low, since, in my opinion, it seems it did not take seriously the relationship in the past.
