I'm so mad! Please advise! What expext when your girlfriend looks vs. guide pregnancy?
So, my best friend just Preggo learned that she is with her first baby yesterday, I advised him to go to (smaller angels) a resale shop for maternity baby stuff and a pic of you (what to expect when your expecting) as she put it on the counter of the store manager just starts shaking his head and saying she can not buy the book and the book was the most terrible scarriest ever read! And she needs to buy (the girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy book instead, which they do not sell at the store. So my friend gave the book and left because of the reaction of women to buy it! I'm not happy I have referred to a store and this is the way it was handled. Personally it's my pregnancy bible and helped me to learn many things. I was wondering how you think about these two books? I go to the store to buy the book for my friend after my husband comes home, and if the Ladie said the same thing for me should I tell him? I'm so mad!
Geez, that cashier had no right to say that for her. Honestly I LOVE what to expect, and have found a valuable guide. I'm nervous by nature, and this book really calmed my nerves more often. There is a reason it is recommended so often! If you get the same attitude, explaining that * you * found the book extremely useful. Remember to ask to speak to the manager – this woman is the establishment Cost of sales store with his negative attitude! It does not matter if she did not like the book. It is his own opinion, and he has not need to spread when it is not required.
