Marriage and sexual attraction?
For those of you who have been married for over ten years or more, do you still feel sexually attracted to each other? Is it normal that my sexual attraction to a woman simply loses it spark of time? It took weight and has aged faster than me. I do not know if this is normal, but I want to leave because the attraction is gone. (We also have social problems, but we believe that the council can help us work on that).
I disagree with what has sunflower say. You might like, but it does you must not forget your physical needs once and for all because you love her. In a healthy marriage obligations both emotional and physical attraction must go side by side by side. A disturbance in one of these can damage the beauty of marriage. As a spouse, it is his responsibility ensure that your physical needs are satisfied as long as it is not physically able to do so because of some illness. And same goes with you if you are in this situation. Some women are too comfortable once they marry and settle down and start to feel that their husbands do not like unconditionally. So far, the woman who does regular exercise and took care of her health and beauty to impress her prince charming begins to gain weight and finally look like a pig once it is certain that Prince Charming is not going anywhere, no matter how it is made of fat. All will eventually return to her before she even know. And then she begins emotional blackmail … and the same old "you'll stay if you love me "thing. Maybe there are exceptions. Maybe there are ppl who are fat and very happy about it. But every person is different and their priorities, their needs are different. There are couples who have sex multiple times a day and then there are couples who have sex once a week or two, but still live a very happy life. But if your spouse has different needs and priorities, you should review and ensure that rather than finding excuses and show other examples. Thus, your social problems must be sorted between you two. And physical problems … It will work on alone if there will be any difference.
