Broken Walls $16.99 “Broken Walls- Summary for promotional materials and websites Broken Walls details the desperate need for a generation of adults to come to the spiritual rescue of Americas future generations. Just as the walls of Jerusalem were broken down in the days of Nehemiah, the spiritual walls of America lie in ruins at the feet of our children. And just as Nehemiah did, God is calling us to rebuild them for His names sake- for our children and their children. Broken Walls is a must read for parents, pastors, educators, and anyone who calls themselves a follower of King Jesus. The spiritual future of our nation is in the hands of those God called to be repairers of the broken walls. Come let us rebuild . . . (Neh 4:17) Your soul will be stirred, your heart rebuked, and your body spurred on in the fight for our nation’s children. Ryan Dalgliesh (Speaker and author- founder of Higher Rock Ministries) Broken Walls will change the way you look at the generations following you and provide the tools needed to make an eternal difference in the lives of those you encounter on a daily basis. Julie Mustard (High school coach and teacher) Kevin Kirkland finally says what so many of us who work with the young people of America know to be true- our children are spiritually in a desperate state of emergency, and WE must take responsibility for rebuilding all that the enemy has destroyed. Chris Ratley (17 year veteran of youth ministry) The resounding message of this book brings us back to the truth and the purpose Jesus had for us all when he said “Follow Me.” Stacy Brown (mother of three teenagers)” |

Broken Wing $4.99 Mike Yeager, an FBI agent with a gift for profiling, is no angel, yet somehow the Bureau has always found a way to forgive him his mistakes. Now, even though heÂ’s in disgrace, thereÂ’s a job that only he can do. In New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, a couple was kidnapped; the husband – a spy – was tortured and killed, and now the wife is in danger. Normally the Bureau might ask Yeager to lead a rescue mission, but this time, they want him to pose as a fallen agent – a broken wing – infiltrate the group responsible, and wait to see what he can learn. The kidnappers are thought to be working for Emelio Barca, one of the most powerful crime bosses in New Orleans, and the target of MikeÂ’s past botched case. Mike sees this opportunity as his last chance, even though itÂ’s bound to wreck his renewed relationship with fellow agent Peggy Weaver, maybe for good. HeÂ’s gone undercover once before in his career, and that time his mistakes led to BarcaÂ’s escape and the maiming of MikeÂ’s first partner. This time he vows Barca wonÂ’t get away. One way or another, YeagerÂ’s career will come full circle in the Big Easy, the city where it all began. |

The Broken $9.95 A woman is thrust into a world where everything is subtly unfamiliar in this edgy thriller from writer and director Sean Ellis. Gina McVay (Lena Headey) is a radiologist who is enjoying dinner one evening with her family and her boyfriend Stefan (Melvil Poupaud) when a mirror shatters for no apparent reason. After a few moments, no one thinks much of it, but the next day Gina is leaving work and she sees something even more troubling — a woman who looks just like her, driving a car identical to her own. Curious, Gina sneaks into the doppelganger’s apartment and sees a photo of herself and her father in the hallway. Seriously rattled, Gina runs out and drives away, only to get in an accident that lands her in the hospital. After she’s released, Gina asks Stefan if she can stay with him, but while he looks the same, his personality and behavior are quite different from the way she remembers him, and she begins having vivid nightmares which become all the more terrifying when the same horrific images begin popping up in her waking hours. The Broken received its American premiere at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi |
