Fast, the best and easy way to clean a lot of glass of a lawn.?
Owner wants us to move into a new apartment that looks like garbage. I think we can fix it, but the lawn at the back is covered with broken glass. How can I completely remove the glass and totally for my 2 years will not get hurt if I let him play outside?
You never get up each shard and I would not let a toddler play here if I could help. If you must move there, get a bamboo rake and pick up the glass as best you can, then hire a heavy duty free shop vac a rental company for a couple of hours and the empty grass as thoroughly as you can with a rake first in the grass one direction and then another, then side to side – all to better expose pieces of glass vacuum your quest. Break It Up $9.58 The title of Jemina Pearl’s first post-Be Your Own Pet album, Break It Up, could apply to a fight or a band — and in Pearl’s case, it’s a little of both. Be Your Own Pet’s music and attitude (especially on-stage) were so riotous that it was clear they wouldn’t last long. The band folded not too long after the release of its second album, Get Awkward, which had one of its best songs, “Becky,” cut from the official release because its nasty update of girl group pop was deemed too violent by the record label. It’s no coincidence that some of that song’s mix of sugar and spite resurfaces on Break It Up, since Pearl wrote the track with Be Your Own Pet drummer John Eatherly and he remains her chief collaborator here. The pair worked with producer John Agnello on these songs, and even though they’re far more polished and sedate than Be Your Own Pet were at their tamest, Pearl and Eatherly still specialize in twisted pop with a mean streak. This time, however, they draw from influences like Blondie and the Go-Go’s and collaborators who include David Sitek, Redd Kross’ Steve McDonald, that dog.’s Anna Waronker, and Thurston Moore (who lends some of his effortless cool to “D Is for Danger”‘s backing vocals). It’s Iggy Pop, however, who contributes Break It Up’s standout “I Hate People,” a love song for misanthropes that updates punk’s penchant for subverting ’50s and early-’60s pop and rock. Pearl isn’t a particularly nuanced singer, but she still gets to explore sounds and moods that wouldn’t have been possible with Be Your Own Pet’s brand of chaos. Though there are a few songs (“Looking for Trouble,” “So Sick”) that don’t stray far from Eatherly and Pearl’s previous band, she discovers new shades of being a bad — or more accurately, independent — girl with tracks like “Ecstatic Appeal,” an unabashedly girly song about not needing any old guy because she’s a Gemini and therefore never lonely, and the brooding death wish pop of “Retrograde.” Still, Break It Up’s highlights are the songs that feel the most autobiographical. “Nashville Shores” sums up her time in that city with the one-two lyrical punch “Boys are bad! The Fix $9.28 Brad Jordan, head of A&R for Def Jam South, was a big success after just a few months on the job; his signing of Ludacris in 2000 paid off in triple-platinum after less than a year. It’s not every A&R man who’s rewarded for great work with an album of his own, but then again, not every A&R man is also one of the most influential voices in the history of hip-hop. After defining the down South gangsta during the late ’80s with Geto Boys, Scarface began a solo career that earned him a couple of gold albums and saw some of the biggest names in rap (2Pac, Ice Cube, Kurupt, Too Short) angling to work with him — this back when posse tracks were rarities. Scarface fans will recognize quite a few of the usual themes throughout The Fix, like the good-times-and-bad territory anthem “My Block” (complete with an old-school production, ’70s style) and “In Cold Blood,” a first-person journal entry from a gang-banger. The highlights, though, find Scarface morphing back into Jordan the bottom-line businessman, banking on the familiar names: “Guess Who’s Back” is more a Jay-Z track with a little room for Scarface than the other way around, and the same goes for the Nas feature, “In Between Us.” And Pharrell from Neptunes takes over “Someday,” with Faith Evans adding a little sugar to the chorus to make up for the patented Scarface growl on the verses.
